The Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom has been bringing live entertainment to Chicago's Uptown neighborhood for over 96 years. First opened as a dance hall in 1926, the venue has also been purposed as a roller skating rink, a boxing venue, and a discotèque. Today, it is one of Chicago's premier concert venues. Nestled just a few blocks west of Lake Michigan and right off of the CTA "L" train, the Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom is proud to be at the heart of Chicago's live music scene.

Day of Show

Coming to a show? Here's a few things to know before you go!

Doors Time

Doors generally open one hour before the show's scheduled start time. Camping in line/lining up more than 3 hours prior to events is prohibited. There is no re-entry into the venue.

Bag Policy

The following bag policy is in place: Bags up to 12” x 6” x 12” are allowed in the venue. All bags will be searched prior to entry. Bags that are not clear will be subject to additional search.

Mobile Ticketing

All our events will be Mobile Entry. That means your mobile device will be used to gain access to the event. Tickets will not be emailed or available for print.

Cashless Payments

All concession, bar, and ticket sales, once in the venue, will only accept credit or debit cards and/or mobile pay (such as Apple Pay or Google Pay). Cashless payments are encouraged for ticket purchases at the box office. Cash to card conversion will be available inside the venue, dollar for dollar, without any service fees.

Getting Here

Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom

All general admission tickets enter through the main doors on Lawrence Ave. VIP tickets through Live Nation enter through the VIP Entrance located on Winthrop Avenue.

Parking:

We do not have venue parking; however, there is a lot across the street from the venue that is first come first serve, $30 per vehicle, cash only. There is also very limited free street parking in the neighborhood surrounding the venue. Please arrive early to ensure time to find parking.

Our box office is located at 1106 W Lawrence Ave, near the venue's main entrance. The box office door is located just east of the main entry doors. The box office is open on show days only - on show days, it opens at 12:00 PM and closes approximately 30 minutes after the main act has taken the stage. Cashless payments are encouraged for ticket purchases at the box office. Tickets obtained from unauthorized sources may be invalid, refunded, lost, stolen, or counterfeit, and if so are void and therefore not valid for entry. We recommend purchasing tickets directly via our box office, Ticketmaster, or Live Nation only.

Will Call: Will Call tickets purchased through Ticketmaster.com are available for pick-up at box office on the night of the show, starting when doors open. Please be sure to bring the order confirmation number when picking up tickets at the box office. Guests must present a photo ID which matches the Will Call name on the order to receive tickets. TICKETS MAY NOT BE DROPPED OFF OR LEFT FOR OTHER GUESTS.

Accessibility Services

If you are in need of ADA accommodations, please inform someone from the Security Team upon your arrival to the show and a dedicated staff member will escort you upstairs. We have a designated area that is sectioned off towards the back of the balcony for ADA accommodations. The building is equipped with an elevator.

If you are hearing impaired, please contact us at least a month prior to the show for accommodations.

Does the venue have an age restriction?

Age restrictions vary from show to show. Please refer to the ‘Show Info’ for each event for the most up to date information on age restrictions. Individuals under the age limit are allowed to attend age restricted events if accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Is there a coat check?

Our coat check is currently closed for the season.

How can I upgrade my ticket to VIP and get on the balcony?

For most shows, we have a limited number of upgrades available, including our main floor riser, balcony seats, and balcony VIP Club access. On the night of your show, simply head to our upgrades table in the lobby, and our staff members will let you know what upgrades are available! Upgrades typically range $30-$80 per person.

What concessions are available?

There are several bars located throughout the venue. Pizza and assorted snacks are also available for purchase. A government issued ID is required to purchase alcohol.

The bar in our lobby gets very busy after doors open. Instead of waiting in line for your drink there, please head upstairs! We have many bars up in the main venue area that often have no lines at all!

How does Fast Pass work?

The Fast Pass gets you through security and mobile ticketing faster than a standard line. The Fast Pass line is let in when doors open. Skip the line and walk directly to the main doors and show your Fast Pass to the door security team.

Please apply at the Media Show Request Portal to be considered. All requests must be made at least one week in advance.
